Default Protective Spirit change

Currently this spell is like an anti spike enchant, thats great against big dmg but what about ranger spike...

What I would like to see is :

Protective Spirit : for 10 - 20 Seconds target ally cannot lose more than 30% - 20% totall hp per second

10 Energy, 5 sec Recharge

55 monks sure need some help to stay alive.
Buff protective spirit please!

Seriously, protective spirit is perfect for what it does. It's already too powerful. Ranger spike can be countered with other spells.

No he's right.

Unless you have a good infuser thats about the only thing that can stop a ranger spike. If it was actually worth using against Ranger Spike I would consider it but no, needs to be buffed.

Ok Ranger spike is great and all but If you have a decent setup of 2-3 monks with decent reaction times its really not all that hard to counter, unless you're playing with the top-50 guilds in which you and your monks and even your whole team should be packed with natural "just-in-case" preventions - Such as Fertile Season, Wards, Shields up, Etc.

Do Not Nerf Prot Spirit, this is quite a stupid idea in my just opinion. You are only furthering pain to 55 Monks which are struggling to stay alive and are probably the MOST never-dieing class.

ok im really hoping this doesnt end up being a Ranger spike is the best and then some poeple complaining it unbeatable, while other (me included) say stop your whining. If you poeple would stop our iways and possibly run your own ranger spike then maybe complaining would stop (nah ppl wont give up thier iways). It is simply enough to beat but simply look at other other posts. But back to the point here.

This would basically make any spike worthless and impossible to get around spikes and deg at the same time. And with a 20% enchant staff you could get it on the whole team at once making it impossible to kill your team (not inculding enchant removal). If you turn it into an elite maybe and increase its recharge then maybe i could see this happening. But protect spirit is fine how it is and shouldnt be nerfed, buffed, ect.

Edit- I am sorry for any typos, errors, ect. Working on other stuff while typing this reply at the same time.

What im trying to say is this, Protective spirit is an anti spike enchant, but only works for big damage.

Would just like to see it based on Health per second rather than health per hit, I mean why is that so overpowered.

Oh well forget it, back to the drawing board

Not only is this a bad idea as prot spirit is good as it is, how do you decide when the seconds start and finish? A spike timed unlucky all during one second would do no damage, and a spike that just happened to be on the border might kil somsone. Even though the game on a whole is not deterministic, adding such an element of randomness is just bad.

Prot spirit isn't an anti-spike enchant, its an anti-big damage enchant. Only some spikes are about small amounts of big damage, which prot spirit will help with, others are about lots and lots of little damage, which you can counter in other ways (shielding hands is one).
